The September 24 release includes long-awaited new features, several performance and user experience improvements, and a series of bug fixes.
We’re excited to launch our new Alerts Module, designed to help you stay on top of important metrics. Now, you can set up alerts for key thresholds and receive instant notifications via the notifications pane, SMS, or email. Keep your operations running smoothly with this enhanced monitoring tool!
Create global alert rules to monitor selected metrics and check when they cross a threshold. The rule is evaluated for every unit in the organization.

Use the Cubu notification pane, email, or SMS to notify relevant users when an alert is enabled or disabled. You can decide whether to notify recipients only when they’re online or even when they’re away.
Notifications can be sent to users currently in the unit or to those designated as "Unit Contacts."
Use the new Alerts tab on the Real-time Monitor tool to view active alerts in any unit.
Add the Active Alerts widget to your dashboard to view active alerts in your current unit.
The Agent Console's case tab has been completely overhauled to mirror the experience of the Case Browser tool, introducing numerous performance improvements and an overall smoother user experience.
Cubu’s "Service" tool has been restructured to better align with the diverse roles and responsibilities within the organization. This tool is now divided into two more specialized tools:
Located in the Admin Tools toolbelt, the Service Admin tool offers administrative capabilities for creating and configuring services across the organization. Administrators can set up services for different units, define and manage service categories and types, handle back-office tasks, and set up alert rules. Access to this tool requires the Service Admin role.
Found in the Manager Tools toolbelt, the Service Operator tool provides essential operational tools for day-to-day tasks. Users can use this tool to monitor, open, and configure calendars, manage daily plans and templates, and control calendar automatic activation. Access to this tool requires the Service Operator role.
To provide more granular control over access to real-time data for specific units, users with the Unit Manager role can now access the Real-time Monitor and view data for the units they have explicit permission to access.
This level of access is in addition to the following:
Service Operator role: Users with this role can access real-time data across all units.
Agent and Power Agent roles: These users can view real-time data for their current unit.
The new Ticker frame layout enables digital signs to display a moving news feed based on an RSS feed. See: Editing Ticker Frames
The new “Popup with Text” layout is now available. In older layouts, the text defined on the Screen Layout/Frame page was missing, but this new layout includes it along with the ticket number, workstation, and directional arrow.
We have added a new “News” feature to inform you about upcoming upgrades, construction work, and new features. A “News” button has been added to the toolbar, which will notify you when there are new updates. Simply click the button to open the News panel and stay updated with the latest announcements.
The following tools have been removed from the Manager Tool toolbelt to reduce clutter:
Agent Console (available in Agent Tools)
Calendar (available in Agent Tools)
Automations (available in Admin Tools)
Users (available in Admin Tools)
The new Service Manager tool has been added to the Manager Tools toolbelt.
The issue of sales tax being incorrectly added to invoices has been resolved.
Assigning cases to calendar users, and creating online meetings do not work when checking in using the virtual ticket or automations.
The "before-check-in" webhook is not called when customers check in using the virtual ticket or legacy kiosks.
Stability improvement for push updates.
Media items lose their file extension when downloaded from the media library.
Numeric fields inconsistent behavior.
