Dec. 2022 Release

Released Dec 4, 2022

New Features

Single Sign On (SSO)

When enabling single sign-on for an organization, the organization members are redirected to their enterprise login page and can log in using their enterprise credentials.

cubu supports SSO using OIDC with the following identity providers:

  • Microsoft Azure AD (Office 365 and Azure Active Directory)

  • Auth0

  • Okta

Simplified Security Model

We no longer maintain global/local roles and global/local groups.

A security role can now contain both global and local privileges. A group contains roles that grant its members both global and local privileges.

Users can now join a group globally or locally in a specific unit.

Global membership grants the user global and local privileges everywhere (in every unit) in the organization. Local membership, on the other hand, grants the user global privileges everywhere and local privileges only in the selected units.

Check-in from the Kiosk Using Customer ID

A customer can now check-in for an appointment using his customer ID.

To enable this feature, tick the Check-in with customer Id checkbox on the kiosk settings page.

Creating New Organizations

Users can now create additional organizations from the Memberships page.

Note: you can only create a new organization if you don’t already own an organization with a trial subscription.

Report Center

A new tool was added, allowing users to view historical data analysis.

Available reports are Unit service level analysis and Inbox service level analysis.

Changes

Service Categories Moved to the Service Tool

Service category and service type administration are now located in the Services tool. To access them, select the organization on the organization navigation panel.

The "Types" Tool is Called "Metadata"

The Metadata tool now contains field and tag definitions.
