# Organization General Settings

Update organization name and time zone.

Admin Tools -> **Settings** -> Organization

Using this tool requires the **Organization Admin** role.

## Organization Name

To change the organization name, update the Organization Name field and click Save.

## Organization Time Zone

The organization's time zone is used to determine the time zone in which the organization is operating. By default, root units inherit the organization's time zone, and child units inherit their time zone from their parent units. However, you can choose a different time zone for specific units, as explained in this article:
