# Public Text Languages

Using this tool requires the **Organization Admin** role.

Communicating with customers in their preferred language improves customer experience and service quality.

Cubu supports localizing customer-facing applications (i.e., kiosks, portals, virtual tickets, and digital signage) and messaging (emails and SMS).

The Public Text Languages tool allows the administrator to choose the **supported languages** to display texts to customers and the public.

The text is displayed in the language the customer selects on Kiosks and Portals.

On **Digital Signs**, the language is determined by the display's configuration.

The case language on Tickets, emails, and SMS messages determines the text language.

## Adding or Removing Supported Languages

To add a supported language, follow the steps below:

* From the **Add language** drop-down list, select languages in which the public texts will be displayed. You can add as many languages as you need.&#x20;
* You can make the added language a default language of your public texts by clicking **Set as default** adjacent to the language in the added languages list.
* To remove a language, click the **Remove** (:heavy\_multiplication\_x:) button adjacent to the language in the list. You cannot remove the default language.
