Subscriptions & Licensing

When you create a new Cubu organization, you get a 14-day free trial. To continue using Cubu after the trial period, buy a subscription. Cubu offers different plans with various features, pricing, and limits.

You'll need to select a plan to create your subscription. Each plan defines the pricing and limitations of your subscription, offering various features and usage limits tailored to your needs.

Learn how Cubu subscriptions work in this article.

Subscriptions

A subscription is a recurring agreement in which you pay for continued access to Cubu over a defined period of time.

The subscription's price is determined based on the number of different licenses you purchase, the selected plan, and the billing period.

A yearly subscription is cheaper than a monthly one!

Licenses

Cubu requires licenses for the following elements:

Users

Cubu operates on a per-seat licensing model for users.

This means you buy user licenses and assign them to specific users. You can transfer a license from one user to another.

Kiosks

Cubu uses a per-seat licensing model for kiosks, meaning you need a separate license for each kiosk you want to operate.

While you can transfer licenses between kiosks, the total number of kiosks you can operate is limited by the number of licenses you purchase.

Digital Signs

Cubu uses a per-seat licensing model for digital signs, meaning you need a separate license for each digital sign you want to operate.

While you can transfer licenses between digital signs, the total number of digital signs you can operate is limited by the number of licenses you purchase.

File Storage

Cubu provides the organization storage space for storing files (in particular, media files used for digital signage).

Billing for storage space is based on the amount of storage reserved for your organization (not actual usage).

Different plans come with different storage capacities, so choose one that aligns with your needs.

SSO (Single Sign-On)

Enabling the Single Sign-On (SSO) feature in Cubu requires a specialized license.

The SSO license is not available in the basic Pro plan. You will need to choose the Premium or Enterprise plans to use this feature.

Sending SMS Messages

If you want to use the SMS feature in Cubu, you need to purchase SMS credits.

Every SMS you send uses a certain number of credits, depending on the message length.

You can top up your credits by purchasing an SMS bundle.
