Managing the inboxes in your organization

Admin Tools -> Directory

Managing inboxes requires the Directory Admin role.

To manage inboxes, click on a unit name in the organization tree and select Inboxes.

Creating a New Inbox

  • Click the New Inbox button, enter the inbox name, and click Save. Note that inbox names must be unique within their parent unit.

Editing Inbox Details

  • Choose the color of the inbox to assist the agent in easily distinguishing between the inboxes in the Agent Console tool.

Archiving and Restoring Inboxes

  • You can archive an inbox to remove it from the system logically.

  • To archive an inbox, click on the context menu button [...] and click on Archive Inbox.

  • You cannot archive an Inbox if services or calendars reference it.

  • An archived inbox can be restored using the context menu on the Inbox List page.

Access Permissions

To access a specific inbox, agents must belong to a group that is allowed to access the inbox. Use the Inbox Permissions tab to specify the groups that can access the inbox.

To grant a group access to an inbox:

  • Go to the Permissions tab.

  • Check the groups to which you wish to grant access to the inbox.

Inbox Automations

Automations are custom actions that Cubu automatically applies to cases in the current inbox when a set of conditions is fulfilled.

Automations are defined for specific inboxes and applied to the cases in the inbox.
