How To: Configure Mandrill as an Email Provider

Mandrill is a popular mailing platform provided by MailChimp.

To use Mandrill, you first need to sign up for MailChimp.

After you log in to MailChimp, go to Transactional email and click on Launch App to launch the Mandrill portal.

Important! When using a Mandrill trial account, you can send messages only to emails in your registered domain.

Mandrill COnfiguration

To send emails from Mandrill, you need to register your domain.

Go to Settings > Domains and follow the instructions. You will need to make changes to the domain’s DNS record.

To obtain an API key, go to Settings > SMTP & API.

Add a new API key. Use this key in Cubu as the email provider API key.

To create email templates, go to Outbound > Templates.

Use HTML to design your message.

Use the Template slug as Cubu’s Template key.
