A Printed Ticket Template contains a design for the ticket the customer gets after checking into the queue via a kiosk.
Customer Engagement -> Printed Ticket Templates
Editing templates requires the Customer Engagement role.
To edit a Printed Ticket Template, go to the template Details page. The page contains three sections: General Details, Ticket Lines, and Ticket Preview.
Template Name: A name that uniquely identifies the template.
Active: Uncheck this box to prevent the system from using this template.
Language: The language to use when resolving text placeholders (see below).
Width: The pixel width of the ticket. For most 80mm thermal receipt printers, use 280 px.
Line Spacing: The number of pixels to add between lines.
In this section, you can add lines to print on the ticket. You can add as many lines as you need. Each line represents either a text, image, or page break.
Text lines may contain placeholders to be replaced with values from the case the ticket is printed for.
Click Add Text to open the Text Line dialog:
On this dialog, you can enter the line text and choose its formatting, including font, size, alignment, etc.
Add the parameter name enclosed in double curly brackets to include dynamic case properties and fields. For example, to print the case's service category name, enter: {{serviceCategory.name}}
.
Click Insert Parmater for a complete list of supported parameters:
Click Add Image to open the Media Library dialog and select an image to print.
Ticket templates are assigned to service categories. This allows you to create different ticket designs for cases in different categories.
To choose a ticket template for a service category, select the ticket template from the Ticket Template dropdown on the Service Category details page.
